Adam H. McKinnon has established his experience as Vice President of McKinnon Associates, Inc., a strategic consulting firm specializing in business development and government affairs.
At McKinnon, his focus was on developing, facilitating, and guiding client’s interactions with both the public and civic sectors. Mr. McKinnon has successfully represented a broad range of clients from industries including real-estate, commercial construction, architecture, program management, agriculture, manufacturing, renewable energy, aviation, and transportation. He has worked with clients at the city, county, state and federal level. In addition, Mr. McKinnon has been effective on behalf of clients in the area of profile management, optimizing their community and civic involvement.
Mr. McKinnon is a past State Chairman for the Associated Builders and Contractors of Florida, the primary trade association for the commercial construction industry, with 5 chapters and 2,000+ member companies in the state. He currently serves as the Vice Chairman of Central Florida Urban League, and on the board of directors of Tiger Bay Club of Orlando. In the past Mr. McKinnon has also served as a board member of the Central Florida Partnership, Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce, and the Winter Park YMCA.
Mr. McKinnon holds a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in construction and business management.
